Beck Head Tarn is a cozy 4-star log cabin just 2 miles west of Ambleside in the Lake District. The cabin sits within a quiet woodland setting where you can truly disconnect.

The Lake District location puts you right in the heart of England's most spectacular national park. Fancy a hike? The famous Langdale Pikes are a short drive away. Need water? Windermere and Bowness are close by for sailing, swimming or just lakeside strolls. The on-site swimming pool (available March to November) gives you another option when you're too lazy to venture out. And yes, after a day of Lake District adventures, nothing beats sinking into your hot tub with a glass of something strong.

The accommodation features two bedrooms - one double with patio doors opening to woodland views and one single - sleeping three people comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is stunning, with plenty of dramatic views and waterfalls, plus some lovely circular walks. The outdoor seating was so peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The cabin itself was warm, comfyand well-equipped, with a smart TV and sound system to enjoy. The WiFi worked well, even if the phone signal was a bit patchy. Only minor thing was the rules about dogs-had to be exercised outside and no pets in bedrooms, which was a bit strict but understandable.
