The lodge sleeps 4 guests across 2 bedrooms - a king-size master with wall-mounted TV and en-suite shower, plus a twin room. Both bathrooms feature modern showers and WCs. The open-plan living area includes a corner sofa, armchair, electric fire and Smart TV. The kitchen comes fully equipped with gas oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine.
Visit Aira Force waterfall (25 minutes), explore the Ullswater Way (25 minutes), or browse the Rheged Centre (15 minutes). From November 2024, the on-site bar and restaurant will open Wednesday to Sunday.

To reach Chapman Lodge At Calthwaite Hall by car, take the M6 motorway to Junction 41, then follow the A6 towards Penrith. Turn onto the B5305 towards Calthwaite village where you'll find the entrance to Calthwaite Hall estate.
For rail travellers, Penrith station is the closest mainline station, approximately 7 miles away from the accommodation. From there, you'll need to take a taxi to complete your journey to Calthwaite Hall.
