Cartmel village (1.1 miles away, 5-minute drive) is famous for its sticky toffee pudding and has several excellent pubs and shops. Lake Windermere is just 5 minutes from the pod, while Holker Hall (3 miles, 10-minute drive) offers beautiful gardens to explore. Grange-Over-Sands (4 miles, 15 minutes) provides lovely coastal walks and independent shops.
