Wainwright Lodge is a modern 3-bedroom holiday lodge in the Lake District's Troutbeck Valley. This all-ground-floor accommodation sits in the Kirkstone area of Limefitt Park, surrounded by spectacular fell views. Recently refurbished to a high standard, this spacious lodge offers comfort with a touch of luxury in one of the UK's most beautiful regions.

The location is brilliant. Set in a peaceful valley with stunning views, you're just 8-12 minutes from Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness. The site has playing fields perfect for letting the kids (or the dog) burn off energy. There's even an on-site pub with pool, darts and Sky Sports when you need a break from all that fresh air. Perfect base for exploring the Lakes without the tourist crowds.

The accommodation features three bedrooms - one king, one twin and one single - ideal for families or small groups. The family bathroom includes a jacuzzi bath with overhead shower. The open-plan living area has two leather sofas, a fully-fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Everything you need without having to pack the kitchen sink.

Nearby attractions include Windermere Lake (5 miles), where you can try watersports or take a scenic cruise. Grizedale Forest Park offers excellent walking and cycling trails. Ullswater is perfect for a day trip and Ambleside (5 miles) has shops, restaurants and cinemas. Kendal (8.7 miles) makes a great shopping expedition.

Wainwright Lodge is perfect for anyone wanting to escape without roughing it. After a day of hiking, soak your aching muscles in the private hot tub. Just remember - no electric car charging, but plenty of opportunities to recharge yourself!
