Somewhere is just 1.5 miles from Coniston village - close enough to walk back after a few pints but far enough to avoid the tourist crowds.

The Lake District location is brilliant. You can walk to the north-east shore of Coniston Water where you'll find spots for wild swimming (if you're brave enough). The Old Man of Coniston mountain is right on your doorstep - climb it if you've got the energy, or just admire it from your garden with a glass of wine. After a day of hiking, your legs will thank you for booking a place with a hot tub.

Inside you'll find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a large Chesterfield sofa and wood burner for cosy nights in. The kitchen has everything - oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and even a panini griddle for fancy sandwiches. The bedroom features a king-size bed in a light-filled room with a dressing table.
