When the evening draws to a close you can retreat to either of two areas of the house to find your sleeping spot; following the staircase up from the kitchen, at the top of the stairs to your right, be greeted by the charming double room with dark blue accents, or on turning left find the pretty single room, adorned in lovely pink, behind one of the two rustic doors, with a bathroom resting behind the other. The second set of stairs will lead you to two further bedrooms, comprising of a charming quadruple room, with three single beds, with light flooding in from the Velux windows, or find rest in the spacious double bedroom, with vibrant pink touches and a bathroom to serve these rooms as well. Spend a moment or two on the private patio in the mornings, letting your four-legged friend stretch their legs before heading out to explore the remote countryside settings of Sleagill. Just under four miles away in Shap you can find all the essential local amenities of a shop and Post Office alongside warm and welcoming pubs, or venture into Penrith and discover the history of the local area in the Penrith and Eden Museum before taking a trip into the Lake District to find ample opportunities for walking, cycling, climbing, birdwatching and watersports.
