Fir Tree Lodge is a cosy 2-bedroom holiday lodge tucked away in a quiet woodland spot at White Cross Bay in the Lake District. This single-level retreat offers private, gated decking with your own hot tub where you can soak away your troubles while the squirrels judge your life choices. Perfect for small families or couples who want some quality time without the kids.

The Lake District location puts you right in the heart of England's most spectacular national park. Spend your days hiking the fells, boating on Windermere, or exploring quaint villages packed with local pubs. Then return to your secluded woodland setting where peace and quiet rule - except for the occasional duck quacking its disapproval at your swimming costume choice.

The accommodation features two well-appointed bedrooms - a double with TV and en-suite bathroom (complete with double-width 'body' shower), plus a twin room with ample storage. The separate kitchen comes fully equipped with gas oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The main bathroom includes a thermostatic shower over bath and vanity unit.

White Cross Bay provides an excellent base for Lake District adventures. Ambleside (4 miles, 10 mins) offers shops and restaurants. Windermere town (3 miles, 8 mins) has charming streets to explore.
