The setting is wonderfully peaceful - you'll have rolling hills on your doorstep and the cute market town of Ulverston just a short walk away. Walks start right from your door with the local landmark "Pepper Pot" offering stunning sunset views. After a day exploring the fells or nearby beaches, nothing beats sinking into your private hot tub with a favourite drink.
The pod sleeps 4 with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed in the studio layout. Inside you'll find a well-equipped kitchenette with a 2-ring halogen hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The modern shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and heated towel rail. Everything's spotlessly clean - a point mentioned in almost every review.
Explore Coniston Water (20 mins drive), climb the Old Man of Coniston, or visit the South Lakes Safari Zoo (15 mins). Ulverston itself has award-winning restaurants and pubs just 15 minutes' walk away.
Oak is ideal for couples, small families or anyone who wants to escape with their dog. The owners Carol and Ian keep the place immaculate and their friendly farm dogs might just steal your heart. The hot tub gets emptied and sterilized between guests - because nobody wants to sit in someone else's soup.
