Absolutely beautiful property in a very scenic location. Weather was perfect so we got to use the outside area which was really nice. Lovely stream running past and a peaceful location. All beds were comfortable and bedrooms were immaculate Only recommendations we would have are some soft closure mechanisms put on the doors and some separate hot tub towels would have been good. Overall a fantastic place in a beautiful setting

Absolutely amazing property quiet, very spacious, really comfortable and well equipped everything you need under one roof. Its also in an excellent location youll feel like youre in the middle of nowhere yet Kendal is only 5 mins by car handy if you need to get some food in whilst the lakes are only 30 min drive away. However, the real gem of this property as others have alluded to is the hot tub. It really does take it to another level. My friends and I will definitely be returning!

The cottage is a short drive from the Lakes in very beautiful countryside the view of the beck and sheep on the hill are lovely! The cottage is also very lovely its spacious, clean, bright and well equipped for 8 people everyone in our party loved it. Yes, we would definitely stay here again!!

The cottage is not suitable for people that are less mobile big steps to the front of the property and a 34inch step at the back door the owner knew I was in a wheelchair as I spoke to him a few weeks before arrival but he never mentioned the steps at the front of the property the property was lovely inside

We stayed for a week over February half term, family of 5, and grandparents came along for a couple of nights too. Welcomed by the owner and made comfortable and at ease instantly. Easy to find and park. House was lovely and clean and we settled in very quickly. Main bedroom is lovely with a tall window looking over the lane and hills. Was initially worried when booked thinking house was on a main road, but its on a quiet lane, rarely seen or heard traffic. Except for the odd tractor which my youngest son loved! Hot tub was a perfect addition. Perfect stay and didnt want to come home! Thank you

Went for my 30th birthday with a few friends for a relax and wind down. Couldnt recommend the place enough. The standard of cleanliness was amazing. We had a little problem with the hot tub but the owners were absolutely gorgeous and kept coming to check if it was okay and gave us a goodwill gesture. Lovely couple! The only thing we would say was the fire alarm went off even if you just opened the door to the oven and we were doing a bit of a spread so it was continuous so we ended up not cooking the 2nd day because we were out of by it as it was so loud and sensitive. Overall lovely stay , very comfortable beds and lush views.

The house is very well equipped, and, although the hot tub was slow to heat, as we were there for the week it wasn't an issue, and we didn't contact the owner, it is an added luxury. The only negative feedback would be that the hot tub wasnt consistently hot enough to be able to enjoy it throughout the weekend. We had to wait until late evening on Friday to enjoy and then Saturday it took a long time to get to a suitable temperature before we could use it. Would expect it to be on constantly throughout our stay so we could use at any time.

Lovely property, all the mod cons you can want, especially the hot tub! I always struggle when sleeping away from home but had the best sleep for the whole week. If we ever go back to the Lake District we would definitely stay there again

The location was perfect nice and tranquil yet close enough to activities and places to visit. The pub down the road was brilliant for food. The house was spotless and so well equipped with no expense spared in materials or quality of items. Having the washer and dryer was great with the towels and having a small child too. What a wonderful property in an excellent location. The property has everything you need for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Extremely clean, very comfy beds, good quality furniture and the decor looked freshly decorated. The cottage was cleaned halfway through our stay including all the bedding and towels changed to the same high standard as on our arrival at a time arranged with us. The owners are very friendly and more than happy to help should an issue arise. It is situated in the countryside with stunning views but within a 10 minute drive of Kendal. What definitely book again.

Booked for bank holiday for a group of friends, ages from 2035. We all had the most amazing time and couldnt be happier with the house. We were lucky enough to meet the owners who were really lovely. The house was really clean open arrival and included everything we could have needed. Great location and loads of parking. We took 3 cars and could have easily fit another one. The house had the comfiest beds we have ever slept on and all bedrooms are really spacious. The hottub was great added extra! Would recommend and 100 would like to come and stay again.

Simply stunning. Absolutely beautiful area, countryside views, the stream & those lambs so adorable. The property was 5 star, everything you could ever need, every detail thought of, no expense spared. It's not often you find a holiday rental with such a high quality interior & furniture. Everything was perfect. Our only issue which was not with the property was that Sykes told us we could enter at 12 on the day of our arrival & leave at 12 on departure, which led to us still sitting enjoying the view when the cleaner came! I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here but I want to keep it for myself

The only down side I have to say is maybe checkin could be a couple of hours earlier and checkout a couple of hours later. The cottage is stunning and high spec in a fabulous setting. The only thing I would change is a slightly later check out like 11am 12noon. Feels very rushed 8 people getting up and out by 10am. I would definitely stay again though and recommend to friends.

We absolutely loved our stay, would highly recommend. When arriving we was all wowed, very large and spacious and the rooms were fab. Hot tub was great, although it did start to smell towards the end of the week which put us of going in it, but apart from this you would not be disappointed staying here. Great location and not to far from Windermere, Grasmere etc. Views from the rooms are out of this world, very peaceful.

Our annual friends' retreat led us to Beck View this year, and it was a complete delight! This cottage is an absolute gem boasting breathtaking views and a clean and modern, wellequipped setup. With 2 ensuite double bedrooms upstairs and 2 more rooms downstairs, along with 2 bathrooms, it comfortably accommodated our group of 6. The garden, including a hot tub on the patio, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. A 20minute walk led us to a welcoming pub where we enjoyed delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The only minor hiccup was the living room seating a long corner sofa that tended to move apart while we sat, but it was a trivial issue that didn't bother us too much. Beck View won our hearts so much so that we immediately rebooked it for next year! Looking forward to creating more unforgettable memories in what is a really lovely and fabulous retreat
