This 17th century, stone-built terraced cottage is located close to the centre of the attractive town of Kirkby Stephen, near to all the town's amenities and the railway station. This historic, cosy cottage dates back to 1671 and is full of original features with beams and latch doors, but also has modern conveniences with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The sitting room has beams and a woodburning stove and is a cosy room to enjoy after a day exploring the surrounding area. Both the sitting room and kitchen have a dining area and are tastefully and thoughtfully decorated to suit the history of the cottage. To the front of the cottage is a lovely sunny lawned garden or you can step into the back patio to enjoy the evening sun with an alfresco meal.

The glorious Howgills are close by and the famous coast to coast walk devised by Alfred Wainwright passes the town. Close by is the local station to the Settle-Carlisle railway, making this cottage a perfect location to explore the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland National Park or the Lake District National Park. This delightful cottage is an ideal choice to enjoy a holiday in this area at any time of the year.
