Lansdale Villa Retreat was the ideal location for our family New Years get together. The property was very well equipped, and it was nicely decorated for ChristmasNew Year. Having several communal rooms meant that small groups could meet to do their own thing, but come together for meals and other activities. The property was well situated in Penrith. Turn right at the end of the drive and its a short walk into the town, turn left and in a few minutes youre in open countryside. The owners had thoughtfully left some bottles of wineprosecco and chocolates. We can highly recommend the property and would consider returning next New Year.

We had a wonderful stay at Lonsdale villa over the Christmas period. The home was accommodating for all of us and we loved the quirkiness of the bedrooms and such a traditional feel around the house. Great location for beautiful walks in the Lake District and easy access to the local town. The only things to mention was that the main in the lounge would only turn on but not access wifi or even normal TV. Additionally, there was heavy condensation which did cause large amounts of water on carpets under the window in one of loft bedrooms.

Great property! We visited as a family for my 40th birthday and had a great weekend. Spacious so everyone could have their own space and having 2 dishwashers made a massive difference. Penrith is a 5 min walk away with plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Grounds were beautiful and I loved the added touches like the apple trees. Icing on the cake was the neighbours cat visiting

The place was amazing, lots of space for everyone to not feel like they are living on top of each other. Place is well decorated and lots of great facilities and amenities. Grounds are fab and the woofer loved the sniffs. Hot tub was a big hit with the kids. Owners and David are lovely, super helpful and responsive. We had a minor issue and it was resolved super quikcly. Would highly recommended staying here. Hope to be back

A brilliant house for a large group, the kitchen especially is great for a large group working together and the two dishwashers a game changer! !! Very comfortable throughout and a real home from home, had everything you needed and the welcome box such a bonus. A big thank you to David and Collette for that little bit more that they provide.

A lovely comfortable large house which was perfect for our large family group. It was extremely well equipped. Our grandchildren loved the trampoline and hot tub. The house was beautifully decorated with great artwork throughout and the garden was delightful. Ideal position within walking distance of Penrith centre and lots to do. We walked, hiked, ran, cycled, kayaked and visited a couple of castles during our week stay. The owners, Collette and David, were extremely helpful and friendly.
